From living with gorillas on top of the mountains in the Congo to witnessing the chilling lead-up to the Rwandan genocide in 1994, his time spent in the country has been nothing short of life-changing. He has seen both the worst and best of life in Africa, and manages to weave this into his captivating thriller.
