Lunchtime Read Aloud for Adults at Hurstville City Library

Most of us have fond memories of being read to when we were small children and in turn reading to our own children, grandchildren, nephews or nieces. Why not rediscover this childhood pleasure?  Bring along your lunch, relax and listen to actor and community broadcaster from Radio 2RPH Philip Boyle as he reads aloud excerpts from a selection of adult stories and poems.

Take the opportunity to look at the best of the library's new books, DVDs and CDs available for loan for the first time. Don't forget your library card or if not a member you can join on the spot. Meet staff and find out how you can download and keep music from Freegal, borrow audio and eBooks from home, make suggestions and add a review to  the catalogue for others to share.
